Issues with re-linking my bank account.

My bank account was unlinked from my PayPal about a week ago and now it says my balance is negative. I've tried to re-link it and it won't let me do so. I won't even let me add or remove a card either. It was working fine up until then so I'm not sure what happened.

If you had a negative balance caused by insufficient funds in your bank account then paypal may well disable that account to stop it happening again.

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via the add funds function.

2. The quickest and easiest way is to get a mate or family member to send a payment via the friends / family option. As long as they don't fund it with a card it should be free.

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal.

4. Or mail a cheque as per link.

5. Buy something and Paypal will normally add the debt to that payment during checkout when you authorise the purchase.
