Deleting Paypal and getting Paid

I am needing to delete my business account and create a new one for mywish to change my paypal.me/ address.
I am transferring all of my funds out of my paypal now, it should arrive in the next 3-5 days.
Curious if I am able to delete my account now, or should I be waiting until the money is showing up in my bank account?
