Cash a check

In the past few months I've cashed my check on PayPal and was only charged the 1% fee and now I'm being charged 5%. Its the same style of check. Not sure why it changed

Yeah it's weird because it is a payroll check with preprinted signature so I would assume that it would remain as 1 percent but for some reason they are doing it as 5. I guess they upped their fees as you stated. Sucks because I wont cash a check through them anymore. Thanks for your help!

it said $5 minimum,I assume for all checks-govt or payroll or business
