As a small business owner who just started using PayPal for business invoices, I am extremely disappointed. Yes, I understand that some people sell products that must be shipped. I don't. Yes, I understand that most financial institutions put a hold on funds received. But, if you are going to put a hold statement on the activitiy that says "pending until XX/XX" - then, it should be available to me on THAT DATE. For all of the extra holds you add to insure my customers have time to return their goods - or beyond your promised pending date, you are just making it harder for us to depend on your process. I am looking into other platforms from which to do my business, based on just 2 invoices (both of which were harder than they should have been to receive).
