I used PayPal to transfer money from China to the US, and not only was the exchange rate extremely horrible (like worse than the exchange at any airport or place well known for scamming), but there was also over $20 in fees removed in addition to that (for $500 transferred)! I am so disappointed in PayPal, because I looked into a lot of options and this has been by far the worse one I've tried. Yes, it's convenient once set up but it's suchhhh a waste of money! I should've read the fine print better (yes, the fees are listed but I did NOT realize they're all added together to total such a high fee).
