I've recently sold an item (mobile phone- new) via direct paypal transfers. Buyer received an item and report of a tiny scratch (which she described as badly damaged), she opened a dispute case and asking for a partial refund. We've both agreed with the partial refund of $60, two days later- I received an email from paypal saying they have fully refunded the buyer, $60 refund been cancelled, and dispute is now closed! WHAT THE????!!!!!! I din't get my phone back from the buyer yet I have to full refund the amount?! This is soooo unacceptable!!! Where is the seller protection?! Contacted paypal and have re-appealed (for the second time).
