Supervision sandy 41788 Is unreasonable!!!! I was told that if I was in a car crash and couldn't respond to your emails (which I didn't get by the way) if a buyer puts a claim in and I don't reply you take the funds out of my account now how is that fair come one paypal. I was told that I have ten days to respond well how do I know this is If I get no emails and you paypal policies doesn't have the amount of days in it. Upon signing up it says read the policies which I did and it doesn't state you have ten days to respond because it doesn't even say that in your own policies. I was one day over not twenty, one day so how is this legal?
Paypal so far isn't helpful at all. If a buyer puts a claim in saying a iPhone I sold them didn't work but it was in working order when I sent it (I have pictures) plus it's under warrant still so they will get a new one at a apple shop, if this was the case. Instead I received no emails in regards to the claim and yet PayPal took the $400 out of my account and gave it back to the buyer. I'm out of pocket $400 and an iPhone. If I receive no emails or phone calls from you PayPal then how do I reply to the claim? I am now being told I can't appeal it either how is that fair. If the iPhone really didn't work where is the evidence PayPal didn't even get any from the buyer so they like to steal the sellers money instead.
I have evidence on my ebay from the buyer saying the phone in great and in perfect working order and why did it take the buyer over 4 weeks to put a claim in. It doesn't take that long to know if a phone works or not there’s more then enough evidence there if you bother to take a look and re-open the case. There are exception and this is one because no notification means that the buyer isn't being informed. There is noting in your policies stating that you void your seller protect if you don't check your paypal daily just in case someone puts a claim in or if your not receiving emails.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) states what you have and the buyer have done if fraud because you have refunded a person without returning the products which is your duty of care if you are the payment services. You can't take the items and the money its fraud and stealing. There isn't a law or policy in Australia or in your guidelines saying that the buyer has the right to keep both and that the seller has no rights if they don’t reply to the form of notification of your choosing (which I never received). It also doesn’t state any where that I can’t appeal the decision if the seller never received notification it is to broad and wouldn’t even hold up in court.

Yes paypal needs a seller appeal. I sold an outfit to a lady. she had photos BEFORE buying it showing the outfit in excellent condition. she gets it - her kid apparently stains it and she wanted to return for a full refund. i told her no. the outfit was not in that condition when I sent it. so she sends it back anyways and makes a paypal claim. they have completely ignord every single email I have sent them and they refunded her the money. now I am out the money and stuck with a piece of trash. they should have just told her too bad and i send the item back to her.
