After 3 customer service phone calls, each with 20 min hold time, After providing ample documented evidence to the contrary, Paypal has allowed a refund to a buyer claiming I sold him a stolen cell phone. I supplied PROOF it was in the exact condition described and not stolen or red flagged.
Further, why does Paypal allow buyers to instantly convert a dispute to a claim? This buyer has never contacted me and filed the instant dispute/claim a month after purchase. Had the buyer contacted me and attempted communication, the situation, if there was one, could have been easily resolved.
Paypal could esily REQUIRE communication between buyer seller before escalation. I attempted contact numerous times with the buyer, with no response.
I am fairly certain I am being scammed by this buyer and Paypal is assisting him.
Why would Paypal do this?
If I had a choice I would never use Paypal again.
