I too have had problems with Paypal.
I have sold items as "parts or not working" and then had the buyer complain it was broken... well of course it is, read the listing. Paypal refunded the buyer's money including the original shipping costs... I have voiced my opinion in a few places, but I am not done. And as soon as I find a new way, I will stop using eBay & Paypal altogether.
I have had more problems in the past 12 months than in the previous 10 years.
The problem I see is the increased 'buyer protection' which scammers are using to profit off of the sellers. If you sell just a few things, this adds up and you lose your rump
