Hi,

I am logging into UK PayPal.

It requires my phone number to send a code to.

Currently, I am in South Korea.

Can I receive the code to my South Korean phone number?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

If however you are just on holiday or staying in that country then be careful using a paypal account that is not from that country.

Paypal security may kick in as they may suspect your account was hacked and being used by a scammer in another country and they would require i.d. confirmation that it was you. The code would need to be sent to the phone number registered with or on your UK paypal account.
