I have send my details in order to update my name. But my name has not been updated since 3 days. Can I know how many days it takes to update the name?

You can only change a name if their were 2 minor characters errors in the name OR for legal reasons eg marriage for example.

I would allow a few weeks and then if you have not heard anything contact for an update?
