linking bank accounts - withdrawing funds

Dear community,

I need to change my PayPal account as I understand that it is country specific.

I set it up in the UK and I am now living in South Africa, when I try to link a bank account it will only accept a US routing number etc. 

Can I set up my account again to rectify this problem or do I need to close it first?

Your help with this matter would be very much appreciated.

South Africa accounts cannot link foreign banks (except for US based bank). The way to link a bank with PayPal in SA is:

It is my understanding that you just need a FNB online profile, and don't necessarily need to have a bank account with them if you don't bank with them.
