e-mail address PayPal verified

I have on account back from 2010, but not used it for some years.

Now I have activated it again an hour ago

When I Try to register to one web site, they ask for a  PayPal verified e-mail address.

When I give there my address, I get an answer "This e-mail address is not PayPal verified".

Should I only wait or what ?

I have tried to read and re-read all and everything there in the Paypal pages, but have no idea, wht I should do more.
