change of country of residence

Hi,

i hope you can help me. I have moved from australia to Papua New Guinea for work. I need to update my primary address and my credit card details, but because when i created this account i was residing in australia, it seems i can only add australian addresses and australian credit cards. How can i change my country of residence?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

HOWEVER the option to 'receive' paypal payments is not available in your new country, they can only 'send' payments for purchases.

when I created my  paypal  account I made a mistake by clicking Austria as my country of residence instead of Australia. I am now having a problem in transferring money to my Australian bank account as it requires me to put in IBAN, which is not used by Australian banks? 

Can I change my country of residence? How? 

If I need to open a new account in Australia, how can I transfer money  between these two accounts?

If I need to close the one in Austria, how can I transfer/send funds?

Hi I tried everything possible to change UK address to Slovakian address . I spoke to paypal office heplpers and proved them all important documents which proved that I do live in Slovakia now , they promised me they will help to change details up to 7 weeks , 10 weeks pased and noone helped. I can not transfer my paypal money to my bank account and I do not know what to do , if You can help me and advice me I ll be glad , Thank You
