I'm sorry you're having trouble updating your name. If the error is still persisting, I recommend trying a different device, web browser or clearing your cache and cookies. If you're still not able to update it online, then you can contact customer support to see if there are any additional options in your area. If needed, you can reach Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal website. Support is also available through Facebook private message or Twitter direct message.
