Won’t let me Report a problem

I’ve tried MULTIPLE times to start a dispute. I follow the procedure (of going to the resolution centre, click report a problem etc.) and whenever I get to a certain stage (after clicking continue after choosing the transaction you want to report) it comes up with a message saying “We’re sorry, something seems to have gone wrong, let’s try that again” I seriously want to file a dispute as I payed for two tracksuits and the tracksuits never arrived and the seller became non-existent, and I really need the money back!

Have you tried another browser / device, tried clearing history / cookies etc??

 

If so and it hasn't worked then call customer services and they will open it straight as a claim for you.

 

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".

They won't answer on phones now due to COVID.. they don't accept the screenshots in the message center due to internal technical issues... they asked me to create a report under Action column but I don't have that available when I am clicking on "report the problem" it re-directs me to transaction page... I am so ungry, as I have clients who is waiting for items, but they can't pay for them... because of stupid service

I'll tell you one of one of the biggest problems that PayPal has is the lack of intelligence it must take to do the job because apparently there's nobody within any intelligence down there I mean you try to report something in you put a stop payment on something that's pending right then five minutes after the place debited it from you and they still want to continue say that you can't report it not this type of transaction well what the **bleep** kind of transaction can you report I mean these people got their heads so far up their **bleep** I think there's a bunch of and you can find any Cracker Jack box credit card is 20 times better than this one go over to Blue Bird American Express

Paypal does not cover buyer remorse so they can't cancel transactions that are processing or completed.

They only cover you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.

Otherwise you can also report a billing error or unauthorised transaction (if you are hacked).

 

The idea is that you do the research before you go ahead and purchase and risk assess your own transactions.
