Why my linked bank account is still checking status after weeks

Hello,

I linked my bank account but is still on checking status from weeks now.
How to resolve this and why is giving this issue?

is it because of the COVID-19 situation?

I would like to use mu PayPal and this problem is not allowing me to do so.
