Why is my bank account not working

My bank account is confirmed but still not letting me use it , it’s been 3 days now since I added it , it was confirmed over the telephone, it shows confirmed but still it won’t let me pay with it, have made several calls to the Paypal team the last one said the direct debit was sent but could take 2-3 days it’s now day 3 and still can’t use it , have emailed Paypal twice now but not received any reply to date ??

Did you check your bank account for the 4-digit code and 1p deposit?
