Why is my phone number not showing up when I try to log in through another phone?

I get through everything else but when it comes to the phone number that is needed to log in, it will not show my number not will it allow me use put it in. Says this number is not supported. Like how is not supported

You have a U.S paypal account can you confirm you are in the U.S and using a U.S issued phone?
