Why can I not close my Paypal account?

I have removed my Visa card from Paypal but you will not allow my to close my account, just send me in loops to help pages that don't help.

After you allowed unknown parties to make several charges on my account, I no longer trust your security and want my account closed immediately.

You need to contact customer services to resolve any account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
