I'm considering using Paypal merchant services in an international setting. I've heard from other international merchants they don't like paypal because it ask paying customers for their birthdate and other sensitive personal data. Can someone tell me if, as a merchant, I can suppress this question in Paypal customer checkout? And if not why and what is the purpose for asking this information and are there specific conditions where this information is collected (i.e. checkout/purchasing, after purchase, setting up an paypal account)? Thanks!
