Want to close account - I need to reclaim my email address

I started my account in New Zealand but I have not lived there  for 10 years, I live in Australia. I want to close the account in NZ in order to use the email address I use for everything in Australia, BUT there I 80c in there, and I can't close it with having $15, I dont even care about the money I jsut want rid of this account so I dont have to set up a email in aus.

Open your AU account with a different email address. Then PayPal yourself whatever you have from NZ account as personal payment to the AU account, then close the NZ account, then add and confirm the email address to your AU account and go back in to make it your new primary email address. Boom, done.

Can't close a PayPal account while you have any funds in there. Maybe you can PayPal it to a NZ friend instead who has PayPal to empty the NZ account out if the currency exchange will deplete what you send to yourself.
