Hi, I recently got an email at 5am today from PayPal telling me my identity was verified, I’m a bit confused, I’m a UK user and usually get emails from PayPal uk not PayPal.com, the email looks legit but I’m not sure? The only other emails I have from them is asking for an identity verirication in April 2020?? (It didn’t contain any links, just told me to log into PayPal on my own and do it through a notification, I don’t recall if I did or not through the app) and two American invoices from April 2020 before the verification request email. I’ve been using my account just fine before the verification request and well before this verification email, so I don’t think it’s a response to account limitations? If it is a real verirication email, why only now after not doing anything? I’m quite worried 😞 I’m forwarding it to spoof@paypal anyway to be sure I think 🙇♂️
