Had a PayPal account since day 1. Back in "the olden days" you signed up with your email address. People sent you money at PayPal via that username. Here we are, many years later, and I want to cease using the email address that was used to create the account. I have been moving over to Gmail slowly and I've now got my Gmail address set up as my primary email on my account. That is not my username however. It seems I still have to use my old email address to log into my account. I assume others would still send payments to my username (old email address) which will be confusing for everyone when I finally kill it off. How can I make my account username and email addresses the same?
