Upgrade personal account to business account - loop

Trying to upgrade my personal account to a business account but seem to get stuck in a loop.

I have logged in

Selected 'upgrade to a business account'

Selected my business type

Then it tells me to enter my email which i have typed in (same as personal account)

then it takes me to a login screen where i enter my password

Then im back to selecting my business type and repeating process

I am having the same issue. 

I've tried on 2 different browsers and 2 different devices and still the same issue.

 

I need to upgrade asap!  How can we get around this? 

I can't call PayPal either because their phone lines are down due to COVID.

still happening. It's impossible to upgrade the moment due to the loop. =(

Got it solved.

 

What I did is, choose a different type of business in that drop down and it solved it.

Use Stripe instead. much better service and you can actually talk with a person when you need help unlike PayPal that is unreachable and their chat system is down a lot lately.
PayPal went far away to the bad side from what it used to be.

I don't know why people still use it when there are so many other good options these days like Stripe, Square and many others.

PayPal focuses on the Buyers way more than on the merchants. so as a merchant it does not make sense to use PayPal when other payment processing services are meant for the merchant and the easy of use.
