I opened Paypal account 10+ yrs ago using a phone number I no longer have. I can't remember the password and I'm trying to reset it but it says it will call me to my old number. How can I reset password via email/account ID??? why is this so freaking difficult?? I've sent messages to Paypal over 6 hours ago and no one is responding.
I had a similar situation. I changed phone number in June but couldn’t login to my account to change it. Twitter PayPal help was unable to help me. I finally logged in and closed the account. I’m not sharing my phone number with PayPal. I can only use it for texts but people still try to call.
