UNVERIFIED EMAIL: Cancelled Payment but both party didn't get the money back. HELP! :(

HELP! I was paid when my account's email was still unverified.

 

I accepted the payment via email, but Paypal asked me to verify my email first, for the money to reflect. And so I did. But as soon as I do, I got an email saying the payment has been cancelled by the Sender. (Which he didn't)

 

I didn't get the money but the Sender didn't get it back as well. It shows that the payment is already ACCEPTED on his end. No refund is shown on his transaction history. He didn't get any email too that the transaction was cancelled.

 

Anyone experienced this? I was thinking that maybe, the refund just takes a few days.

 

This is a Paypal to Paypal transaction.
