Wanted to set up private account . Have one for work already. Wouldnt let me.

Is it normal for online assistance to send me to an "outsourced" technician at "Just answer" , who wants to know all my details, access to my computer etc and on top of it charges $56. The paypal online assistance just did that.

Did you google for a paypal customer services number only it doesn't sound as if you used the help / contact options ON paypals site to access help.
