Text from Paypal

Hi all,

Ive recently made a large payment via Paypal Credit and i've received a text from Paypal saying

(Paypal) Did you pay -£xxx GBP to xxxxxxxxx on 19th September 2019?

Please reply 1 if yes or 2 if no (reply needed)

So i replied 1 as it was correct and i get another text back saying sorry texting is no longer supported for sending and requesting money.

So how am i meant to confirm the payment?
Why do they still send texts out if that way or confirming is no longer active?

Hi, I just had a very similar experience with Paypal. I also received a text asking me to confirm a payment but when I texted back my message wasn’t even sent. Now I’m not sure if anything is required from me?!

Yeah very strange. I went on my PayPal and validated my card to see if that's what it wanted me to do. Other than that I dont know

I'm currently having this problem, did yoy need to do anything to confirm it or did it do it automatically for you without the text
