Search function faulty

I have tried searching transactions based on a time frame (I send invoices frequently) and not all transactions from the searched payee in the time frame appeared! I found several more by going through my entire list of invoices sent over the past year, which I DID include as a parameter for the search function.

I use Safari, but things seemed to work better on Chrome when I tried. Sort of a big problem that PAYPAL HASN'T MENTIONED THIS YET?? Has anyone else struggled with the search function under the "activity" tab in this way?
