So recently I had a customer. He sent me $1,850 for an item. And I received an email stating that I was at the max amount of money. So he ended up sending me an additional $500 to expand my account. And that I had to refund him $500 by buying a Walmart or nike card. Is this a scam? Has this happened to anyone?

100% total SCAM.
Been ongoing for a couple of years, they haven't sent you anything as if they had the funds would SHOW and be pending IN your paypal balance.
They just want to scam you for money using another payment processor or via gift cards or tokens.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
