I was just sent a code through text that you would normally get when trying to login in to your account from a new or different location. However i was not and no one else is linked to my account

Hi @Abarnnns

 

I can understand the concern if you haven't accessed your account. 

 

Our system will ask to send these codes if we are unsure if it is the customer accessing the account. Depending on where you are located, the phone number that you receive the text from is different. The safest thing to do would be to sign in to your PayPal account and update your password to make sure your account is secure.
