Proof of Business Address issue

Hi Community,

I recently opened a Paypal business account and as part of the process, I am being asked to submit Govt issued EIN and proof of address. For EIN, I have the IRS issued letter which I can submit. However for proof of address, the only document that I have for now is Articles of Organization (Since mine is a brand new business, I don't have any utility bill or statement or any document normally mentioned in the list.

Can anyone guide me if Articles of organization is an acceptable form of address proof. If not, then can I again submit IRS letter, because it also mentions the address?

Hi @uimran,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

In general, as proof of address, we can only accept utility bills, financial statements or any government-issued letter such as something in relations to taxes. Here you can find more information.

I hope this helps.
