Problems adding a debit card to my account

I’ve just made this account recently and when i try and add my debit card to the account, each time it tells me that the card number is wrong, even though it isn’t. I’ve contacted paypal directly and they haven’t got back to me so any help will be appreciated

Is it a UK card?

Is it a card paypal accept ie from a physical bank?

Does the card have available funds?

Does the cards billing address match your paypal account address?

Have you added that card to any previous paypal account?

Is it a prepaid card?

Yes its a UK card, it works fine for everything else apart from on here. It’s a visa debit card so i dont see why they wouldn’t accept it. I also haven’t added this card to a previous account before. The only thing it says when i try to add the card is that the card number is wrong when it isn’t @kernowlass
