Possibly put in wrong bank account details (how do I change it?)

Hi, I’m new and worried that I’ve input some of my details wrong. I’m from New Zealand and when I went to put in my bank account details the format of it made no sense in respect to my bank account number. So I messed around for a while until I found something that worked but after talking to my bank I’m entirely sure I’ve done it wrong. How do I check to see the bank account number I’ve put in? (All I can see is the last few digits). And how can I check that I’ve formatted the bank account number properly? Also, I have a transaction pending is it possible to cancel it? I don’t want it going to someone else’s bank account. Thank you!
