Phone Number and Privacy Policy

I tried the Contact form (two different browsers) but I won't submit, so now I try here:
I'm about to change/add my phone number.
On the phone number change page PayPal writes:
"Adding my number confirms that I'm authorized to add this number and consent to receiving autodialed and prerecorded calls and text messages for the reasons described in our Privacy Policy. Standard mobile carrier rates may apply."
But in the Privacy Policy there is NO mentions of either "autodialed" "prerecorded" or "text messages".
So; What are PayPal going to use my phone number for, and what am I supposed to consent to, in relation to "receiving autodialed and prerecorded calls and text messages"??

Hi RipRapRob,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community!
In general, we may send you text messages for security reasons, to inform you of activity on your account or in case of u unauthorised activity. Additionally, we may call your phone number in case of an outstanding balance in your account.
I hope this helps!
