Phone Number Issues

Hi I recently made a Paypal. When asked to confirm my phone number it does not send me the verification code to my phone. I made sure the area code and the phone number is correct but it still is not sending the code to my phone. Any way to fix this? Please and Thank you.

Have you ever had another PayPal account? If not, have you ever linked and confirmed your phone number on another PayPal account, including any closed accounts? If yes, this could be the reason why you cannot confirm it. I would recommend calling our Customer Service and one of our agents will review the situation and advise you on what is your best option. If you would like to call in, you can find the correct phone number for your country by clicking 'Help & Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal homepage and by clicking 'Contact us' and then 'Call us'.
