Paypal name always differs

I have two names for my first name, Jhan Mathew. I wanted to link my GCash (a digital wallet service) account, but I received an email saying that my name doesn't match. The problem is that the email referred to me as <removed>; whereas my full name appears on my Paypal profile and I receive emails from Paypal in my full name, Jhan Mathew <removed>. There seems to be a glitch or some sort.
