Paypal here app login

When trying to login to the app, it just keeps returning to the login password screen. Its the correct password as i can login to the browser with the same detials? Is this something to do with paypal buying izettle maybe?

I have the same issue. I enter password and it looks like its loading but then goes back to password screen. If I put in wrong password it will tell me wrong password but If its correct password it keeps going back to password screen. I have tried it on two different Android phones with same issue. One is Android 7 (which I can understand may not be outdated) the other is Android 9.
