Old phone number

Hello! I want to delete my bank account from an old paypal account, because I want to attach to my present account, but when I want to sign in to the old account it is asking for verification via phone. But the phone number is very old I lost somewhere so obviously I cannot get any verification code to be able to enter. What can i do?? And it doesn't provide any other way to verify myself... please help... thank you

You would need to ask customer services to help you remove the old bank account or regain access to the account.

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
