Nobody at Paypal will respond to my request for a refund!!!

Paypal is a mess!!! I can't get through to anyone, they locked me out of my account, I resolved that yesterday, then they locked me out again!!! Made me change my password twice in the last twelve hours. I have a refund due from a merchant that was sent to them, and I'm trying to contact Paypal to send that refund to me, but cannot get anyone to respond. I've called, I've messaged, I've use the chat, but no one has responded to me. How can I get my refund sent to me?

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long.
(Can vary according to country though).
