I don't have, and don't want, and will never again have a mobile phone. I tried to log in to my Paypal account but couldn't register a mobile phone number, and it wouldn't accept a house phone number. Evidently Paypal thinks everyone must own a mobile, because the system then told me it would text me a security pin. So exactly how does that work? Do they not know that to access a text message you first need a mobile phone?! Effectively, I'm now excluded from using Paypal.
