New Tel#, now can't get into my account

So I can't get into my account.  I got a new telephone number.  When I tried to access PayPal, it tries to authenticate my old number.  But that # is no longer in service.  I have provided my new #, but it says that my new number is not in my name, which is not true.  I have tried calling PayPal several times but I can not talk to a real person.  I can not use the messenger help online because it tries to authenticate my account.
