New Mobile Phone Number

My new mobile phone number shows up in my profile and replaces my old mobile phone number. However, I still get a screen telling me a text will be sent to my OLD mobile number when I try to log in, which I no longer have and which is no longer in my profile. I  now have to answer my security questions each time I log in.

Click on cog icon next to log out and then notifications in the blue band, just under there what number is showing?

Spoke to Paypal a few days ago. Was told issue would be solved within 48 hours. Longer than that now.

Just chatted with paypal again. they told me how to cancel and reset 2-step verification. problem solved. thank you.

Just download mozilla firefox and  was able to change a phone number
