Recently i refunded a transaction on Ebay. However for some reason the refund location was to an old paypal account i used to test paypal(Not the account i am currently o), so for this reason most details are false, except the email. I sought of know the name, but not address/ mobile number nor password. i have talked with paypal customer service however they cannot access my account without validating my address or mobile number. i have no clue what to do and am requesting help.

kind regards

Billy

Hi @blfolkard,

Thank you for your post!

If a card was used for the payment, the refund would go back to the card. Typically the refund only takes a few days to reflect in your card's online banking, but with some card issuers it's possible that it won't show for a full billing cycle.

I hope this helps!

If you 'refunded' then the refund would go back to the buyer not you?

Or do you mean you received a refund, in which case it would go back to the funding source used to pay in the first place !!!

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

i received the refund, but that's not the bit that really matters. its the part where i cannot access an old account. The purchase was made by purchasing on card.
