How long does it usually take for me to change my name on Paypal, it says 5 days but its been over a week.

Depends, if its for a legal reason ie marriage it seems to be more quickly but if its a typo you made could be a few weeks.
If you used a 'nickname' on an account and want to change it then they can't do that.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
