My country got listed wrong when signing up for my account

I tried setting up my account tonight and when I am looking at the account details it lists my country as:

Croatia. 

This is wrong.  It is supposed to be United States of America.

But it will not allow me to change when I go to the settings tab.

Can you please assist.

Due to this I believe it will not allow me to set up a bank account or any other items.

You can't change a country on a paypal account, you would have to close that account (if you can) and remove anything you have linked to it (again if you can) and then open one in the correct country.

If you can't close it or remove everything you added then you would need customer services help.
