Money sent to the wrong account

On june 12 I sent 50.00 to my son. I sent it to his old account number. I get no response from anyone at paypal to help me resolve this issue. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance 😊

How did you send it which paypal option?

How did you fund it what funding source?

What does it say next to the transaction in your Paypal account?

1. Pending (with a clearance date)
2. Pending/Unclaimed with a cancel option.
3. Pending/Unclaimed withOUT a cancel option.
4. Payment or Sent.
5. Pending/Uncleared with a clearance date.
6. Pending awaiting authorisation.

I sent the money to a deactivated email. I used a downloaded app. And I sent it from a prepaid debit card. The transaction says complete. I am not sure I am responding to your questions in the right way.
