Today was a first for me, I got an email from Paypal with a "coupon" for some dollars off for a purchase from a particular store which I had been browsing online this morning from Chrome (outside Paypal or Ebay, just a regular store website). Obviously, these are related. I'm sort of used to that but my Paypal settings are clearly set that I am to receive NO MARKETING emails of any kind from Paypal. So what's up, does Paypal just think they can violate their own settings and ignore your wishes or what? Isn't that actually probably illegal? Seems like violation of contract law or something, but I'm no lawyer.
