After moving a couple of years ago from an apartment, I changed my address to my new home. On some sites, however, my street address is right, but the apartment number still shows up in the address. I have changed my address in my Paypal profile, and removed all old addresses, but this still happens on some sites. This happens on sites I've never visited so it isn't in someone's cache somewhere.
I would suggest contacting Customer Support to have them make sure that all old address have been removed. You can locate the Customer Support number by clicking on 'Contact' at the bottom of the PayPal page and select 'Call us'.
